By this point, you guys know that my main skincare goal is
to rid my face of hyperpigmentation and discolouration. You guys know I’m
always on the lookout for products that I think will or that promise more
radiant skin and less dark marks. When I first bought this Nivea Q10 Plus C Anti-Wrinkle + Energy Sleep Cream, I thought it would be the answer to all my
skincare dreams and that by the time I had finished the tube, my face would be
without dark marks and I would happily proclaim this cream as a total life
changer… but alas, it just wasn’t to be.
Now, that’s not to say that this cream was completely
useless. In fact, I think my goals and expectations were too great and too
lofty for a humble sleep cream that didn’t even promise these results in the first
place.
Will I buy again?
Yes and no. Aside from the fact that this cream didn’t
appear to change my skin at all, I still loved it. I would put it on right
after cleansing in the evening, and because I cleanse my skin as soon as I get
home, it was the perfect light layer of moisturiser to tide my skin over until
bedtime when I would apply my Nivea Pure & Natural Regenerating Night Cream.
Honestly, I think that come winter I will rebuy this cream because it does help
moisturise the skin and it did actually brighten my face and make me more of a
glowy brown colour – goals. However, because I am on this No Dark Spots quests,
instead of rebuying a mediocre product that doesn’t exactly bring me any closer
to achieving my skincare goals, I would rather focus my time, effort and (most
importantly) money on a product that will.
