Funny that after I’ve written a post about almonds I would
then follow it up with another almond related post. While I was tempted to file
this under Treatments I Tried, because it’s a combination of two oils, I figured
I’d keep it separate for now.
As you can tell from the title, this hot oil treatment was a
combination of sweet almond oil and sunflower oil so I knew I’d be getting some
good stuff to my hair.

If you read my previous
Treatments to Try post, you’ll know
that almonds are especially good for your scalp, so with that in mind I focused
this oil on my scalp, making sure to massage it well before using the rest on
my hair. Also, as it’s been getting colder, I’ve noticed my hair has also been
getting drier, to try and combat that I kept the almond oil on my hair for
almost an hour. I think it was keeping it on for as long as I did that meant my
hair felt so soft and moisturised.
Now that it is getting colder, I think I might have to start
increasing oil treatments from once a fortnight to every week. But I’ll keep
you posted on what I decide. And, if you’re curious about other almond oil
benefits, make sure you check out my post
here.
