FYI This one’s a bigg’un!
I recently went shopping for some hair products and ended up
buying a whole lot of stuff that I thought I’d share here in a massive hair
haul post. Most of the products I bought were ones I already had on my hair
table at home that just needed restocking, but I did get a few new products (as
well as a whole bunch of samples).
PRODUCTS
PALTAS B.K.C. LEAVE-IN CONDITIONING SPRAY
I’ve been using this for longer than I can remember and it
is definitely one of my all-time favourite hair products to use. I love the way
this smells and how easy it makes handling my hair. This spray also works well
with my UKHairweaves extensions that I’ve had for over a year.
BLUE MAGIC TEA TREE OIL
This tea tree leave-in oil conditioner is one of the new
products I decided to try. I can remember when I was little and my mum used to
do my hair, she’d always say how well my hair reacted to tea tree products. I haven’t
used any tea tree based products in a few years so m hoping my hair remembers
all the goodness it used to receive from tea tree. And with its anti-breakage protein
complex, I’m most excited about trying this.
BLUE MAGIC ARGAN OIL
This was one of the first things I wrote about on the blog,
so I’m happy to see it make a return so soon. I loved this so much (and was so
sad at how quickly it finished) that I decided to buy two of these. I loved the
way my hair felt after I used it, and at only £1.99 a pot, it was definitely
worth stocking up on.
IC P.M. NIGHT TIME OIL TREATMENT
Even though this looks a little dated, when I first saw this
on the shelf I was very intrigued. I’m a big, BIG fan of overnight hair
treatments as they make me feel as though my hair and scalp are really reaping
in all the benefits of a product. I love that this even comes with a cap, so I won’t
be worrying about what to wrap my hair in while I sleep. The treatment offers
to strengthen, repair and shine hair while you sleep, and if you read my
hairand beauty goals for this year, then you’ll know this is just what I’m looking
for! I also love that this hair treatment doubles as a body treatment if you have
any dry areas of skin that need repairing.
SAMPLES
I’ve never heard of these sample brands, but if these work
out well, I’ll try and look for them online or in store. And somehow I lost one of the samples I was given (the long deep pink one in the first picture), but once I find it, I
’ll share it here.
OSSAT NATURALS
I can’t tell if this is a gel, but it’s described as a
shaping gelly with five oils and strengthening solutions. I like that it
promises to leave hair defined and not crispy or crunchy, as I’ve found that
some products do leave my hair feeling (and looking) straggly and crunchy.
TALIAH WAAJID
This appears to offer a lot in a tiny sachet. It’s got
vitamin E, it’s paraben free, it adds sheen and eliminates dryness, and the
fact that it’s got ‘healing’ in its name already makes it a winner in my book.
DAX
I’m not familiar with beeswax or its benefits, so I’ll be
interested to see what this does to my hair and whether or not it’s worth a
buy.
DAX
As packaging goes, I can’t really tell a whole lot about
this one, but then maybe it means it’ll end up being the best?
MEGA GROWTH
Another anti-breakage product that I’ll be banking on to
repair my hair. The packaging on this looks similar to products I used growing
up, so I’ll see how this one works.
CAMILLE ROSE
Of all the samples, this is my favourite package, and I think
it’s for this reason that I’m most excited about using this product. This leave-in
detangling hair treatment has coconut water, which by now we’re all more than
aware of its hair and body benefits, such as hydrating and moisturising.
Be sure to check back again in the coming months as I review
some of these products! You won’t want to miss it.
