When I first used this mascara I was extremely underwhelmed. To be honest, I think it less about the actual mascara and more about my prejudice. I like my mascara brushes thick, full of bristles and just WOW-looking, so when I saw the brush on this mascara I was disappointed. For me, long thin and spindly brushes do not give my lashes that “clumpy-drama-over-the-top-fake” look that I crave and that bigger brushes have always given me. But then the unexpected happened (as you can tell from the title). I wore this mascara for more than a day (it’s probably been over a month since I’ve started wearing it) and not only did it change my life, but it also changed my opinion on certain mascara brushes. Oh and did I mention that thanks to this wonder mascara, people ask if I’m wearing lash extensions or false lashes? Result! Such a dream compliment anybody could ever give me.

Firstly, this mascara is loaded with nylon fibres that add length, depth and D R A M A to your lashes, while the inky formula really makes your lashes blacker than ever. To achieve my desired over-the-top-ness, I apply at least two layers to each eye.

I honestly feel like I’ve found “the one” and something tells me that until the day Rimmel discontinues this mascara, I’m going to wear it for the rest of my life!
