Empties: RIP Glossier Priming Moisturizer Rich.

The way I feel now is definitely not how I was feeling nearly three months ago when I first tried this moisturiser. Ineffective, not worthy of the hype, not moisturising, were just a few of the thoughts running through my mind. at the time, I felt like I had fallen prey to the latest product fad and that my first real adult foray into skincare was a bust. But now, nearly three months on, I’m seeing things so different.
Firstly, this moisturiser is worth ALL the hype. Luxuriously thick, creamy and smooth, I looked forward to putting this on my face every morning. I read that some people found it a bit too thick for mornings, but for me it was just perfect (if at times sometimes not enough). Over time I found it works best when applied to slightly wet/damp skin, and when massaged in, like you’re giving yourself a massage. In winter ’16, I noticed small grey dry patches on my face, but not this year, as my face remained luscious and brown. I also noticed that my makeup went on a whole lot better when I used this moisturiser.
My only niggle? I wish it had SPF in it – even if just SPF15. I would think this every morning as I applied my SPF30 on top.
Would I buy it again? In a heartbeat! Funnily enough, a few weeks before I came to the end of the jar, I was about to order another one, but then remembered I still had my Fresh Rose Moisturiser that needed trying. I would say that my first foray into skincare was such a success that I’m now desperate to try Solution, their acid exfoliator, which is currently sold out.
