Would you believe that yesterday afternoon, while desperately
in need of something to snack on; I opted for a bag of mixed nuts in lieu of my
regular bar of massive Cadbury’s (that were on offer no less)? As I munched
away on my healthy snack, it got me thinking: what are the benefits to eating
cashew nuts instead of chocolate (aside from the obvious of one being healthy
and the other being full of artificial sugar), which lead me to writing this
post.
Well let me tell you that a after a super quick Google visit,
I found that these funky shaped nuts are more than meets the eye. For example,
did you know that they are great for your heart, eyes, blood and weight loss? They
are also packed with vitamin E which we know is great for cell growth and production,
and good for your hair. Additionally, cashew oil (who knew there was one?) helps to ensure healthy hair.
It’s also kind of funny to think that when I was a lot
younger, I couldn’t stand the taste of cashew nuts and would never have dreamed
of touching a bag of mixed nuts if they were included. These days however, you
could say I’ve been convinced they’re not the worst thing ever.
