Diamonds & Pebbles: Blood Orange Nails.

I could make this post really short and just say that I love this colour, it’s the best thing since forever and that I’ll be wearing it on rotation etc., but where would be the fun in that? Instead give me a moment to wax lyrical about the red shade that has quite probably saved my life. I joke; I’ll keep this post short. Fresh from my last Superdrug mini haul, this particular hue seems to be working overtime to deliver on greatness because it is literally greatness in a bottle. I told you about my fear of red nail varnish last year, but ever since I overcame that fear, I’ve been in search of different kinds of reds ranging from bright, to dark, to somewhere in between. Right now I’d say this Blood Orange belongs in the bright red category as it’s the brightest red I have, but it does change depending on lighting. When I first saw it in the shop, I was worried that it’d actually be orange, but that was kind of a silly worry considering that blood is red and that the colour in the bottle didn’t actually look really red. But anyway, I’m rambling. This fancy nail polish makes a lovely change from the sensible nudes and pinks I’ve been wearing recently. And, like every time I wear a red manicure, I feel totally badass like no one can tell me anything ahahahaha.
