It seems like forever that I got this sample. Truth be told,
I haven’t been using any of my samples as laziness has fully taken over me. That
said, I was getting tired of my current products when I realised I still had a
few samples that could help see me through this slump.
Like with all products, the first thing I notice is the smell,
and this smelt UH-MAZ-ING, like life itself. Though the packet says it’s got
olive and sunflower oil (a great combination by the way), I couldn’t help but
smell something coconut-y – not that I’m complaining because it truly smelt
amazing.
At first I thought the lotion would be really thin and runny
like most lotions, but I was (pleasantly) surprised to see that the lotion was
thicker than expected, meaning that when I applied it to my wet hair, the
product didn’t get completely overwhelmed by water. The packet also promises to
reduce breakage while increasing shine and softness. I can’t say a lot about
reducing breakage as I’d need to be using it for a long time, but I can say
that my hair was super soft after using this sample.
Sure, the lotion is marketed at children, but what I’ve
found about using children’s products is that they tend to be a lot kinder to
the body as children are still growing and too-strong ingredients can have negative
effects on them. So using this, it felt (in my head anyway) that extra care was
being taken to ensure my strands were well looked after.
You can be sure that I’ll be keeping my eye out for the full-size
version of this because I really loved it.
