Empties: RIP Rimmel London Wake Me Up Mascara.

This week on the blog is all about the products I’ve finished in the last few weeks. Today I’m talking about my Rimmel London Wake Me Up mascara.

I first got this mascara late last year but didn’t start using it until the beginning of this year. One of the very first things I noticed about the mascara was the amazing smell, and it was a smell I didn’t get tired of. I loved swiping this over my lashes every morning and getting a healthy whiff of cucumber with each use. At first I didn’t really like wearing the mascara on its own (I’ve spoken about my need for wearing at least two mascaras), but over time I started to really like just wearing this on its own – which in part was down to me finding a better way to apply the mascara with the wand – and I loved how thick and kind of clumpy it made my lashes look. Even though I’ve technically “finished” the mascara, I still find myself scraping the inside of the tube because I love it so much and I’m not ready to throw it away.
