It was that time of the month again when my hair had lots of
product build-up and was in need of a good shampooing. I was about to reach for
my new fav, Crème of Nature kiwi and citrus shampoo, when I spotted this old
shampoo on the shelf and decided to give it a try on my “new” hair.
I used to use Motions back when I was relaxing hair. I’d
slap on their relaxer, wait or my scalp to sizzle before rinsing it off with
their shampoo that always managed to cool and soothe my scalp instantly, then I’d
lather on their leave-in conditioner and go about my day. Since I stopped
relaxing my hair (almost one year ago eeeek!), I haven’t touched any of my
Motion products and they’ve just been hanging around the house collecting dust.
When I used this to shampoo my hair, I was pleasantly surprised at the results
and at how well it was able to clean my hair.
While I may no longer relax my hair, I’ve found that Motions
still works for my hair and I loved how this shampoo still soothed and calmed
my scalp, and left my hair feeling clean and nourished. If anything, I’d say this
shampoo works better on my now natural hair than it did on my chemically saturated
hair.
