Truth be told, I hadn’t intended on using these samples
together in one go, but due to each sachet having little to no product, I had
to improvise and ended up using both the regular conditioner and the intense
repair mask as a 2-in-1.
I first started with the regular conditioner that had a
creamier, more liquidy texture to it. It glided easily through my hair, and I know
that had there been more in the sample, it would have been more effective in my
hair.
The main thing I noticed (and its downfall) was the smell. It
smelt plastic, like I was putting artificial stuff in my hair – which though I am,
I like my products to have a natural-ish, not synthetic smell to it.
I ran out of the conditioner before I was finished with my
hair so I then moved on to the intense repair mask.
The mask was a little creamier than the conditioner and
definitely not as runny. I’m sure if I’d have held my hand upside down, it wouldn’t
have slipped off.
The mask also had that plastic smell, and again there wasn’t
really a lot in the sample to cover my whole head.
I think that because both products are from the same line it
didn’t matter that I used them the way I did, and afterwards I need notice my
hair felt clean, replenished and well-conditioned. Despite the plastic smell, I
think these products are something I would consider buying the full sized
bottle in the future.
