First she revolutionised the way we look at eyebrows, then she changed the contour game by introducing contour kits for the masses, and now she’s doing it again by releasing a new line of foundation sticks that come in a whooping TWENTY FOUR shades, with four more being added in the next few weeks. The lady in question? Anastasia, the maverick behind global makeup brand phenomenon, Anastasia Beverly Hills.

By now I’m sure you’ve seen it on every beauty blog, but I couldn’t miss out on the chance to share my own thoughts on this awesome news. I’ve mentioned this a bit in the past, but I’ve always struggled to find foundations in my shade, and as a result I’ve always felt apprehensive towards brands that come out with “new” foundations because I know the chances of them catering to my shade are always slim.

That’s why, whenever I see a brand coming out with a new line of foundation that also happens to cater to us darker girls, I do a little jump of joy in my head. While these new foundations won’t be as cheap as say Maybelline (they’ll be about $25 which is roughly £20), they are cheaper than some high end brands like YSL, Tom Ford and Georgio Armani who also have more darker shades.

I’m not too sure about when it’ll be out in the UK or if UK residents can order it from their site, but this is still good news for girls all around the world!
