You’ve probably noticed I’ve mentioned this shampoo and
conditioner combo a few times in passing on here, so I thought it was high time
they got their own post. My mum got these from Avon a few months ago and I’ve been
using them on rotation for a while. And omg this stuff smells UH-MAZ-ING (which is already reason enough to use them)!
As you know, I’m not big on shampooing, so I’ve only used the
shampoo once or twice. It cleanses my hair well and acts as the first stage of
cleaning your hair. This shampoo helps to moisturise and revitalise hair.
I’ve used this conditioner A LOT, and it’s honestly one of
my favourite conditioners. I love the way it cleans my hair and scalp. It makes
my hair less tangled and I love how it makes my hair feel after I’ve used it.
Here’s some interesting stuff I found out about verbena and
peppermint. Verbena is a natural stimulant and emollient which means it
helps to moisturise and soften skin, as well as calming inflamed areas. It can also
act as a disinfectant which means when used on the scalp it can help get rid of
nasties. Peppermint is great for hair growth, combating dryness and moisturising
the scalp, so it’s no surprise my hair feels moisturised after using this.
On this hair journey I’m more interested in using products
with naturally occurring extracts such as verbena and peppermint that are beneficial
to the caring, repair and growth of my hair and scalp. Combined together, these
will leave your hair smelling and feeling amazing. This duo is a great combo
and they’re definitely worth a try.
