First I want to start by saying this wasn’t the shade I was
supposed to paint my nails. I was supposed to paint them in
Black Currant, but
as the lighting in my room (and not reading the label) would have it, I ended
up painting my nails Black Cherry instead. That being said, I will be sharing
my thoughts on Black Cherry in due time, so please do look forward to that.
I bought Black Cherry a few months ago and was going to
share it on my other blog, but didn’t get round to doing so. In fact, this is
the first time I’ve ever worn Black Cherry, so I’m happy to be sharing it on
here.
The colour is dark, broody, sexy, mischievous, daring,
naughty, and will make you feel kind of badass. Over the years, I’ve found that
dark nails give me a strange confidence that no nude nail ever could. I feel empowered;
as though the world is mine for the taking, and that I make sure I always get
my way. It’s really funny how simply painting your nail a different colour can
give you such a different feeling and make you feel like wonder woman. It’s
like having a total makeover, and if you do change your mind, you simply change
the colour.
What do you think about the dark colour? It goes perfectly
with dark skin and I honestly couldn’t recommend it enough! This colour is also
perfect for Christmas, offering an alternative to a red polish.
