Remember that time I was moaning about never being able to
find high-street brands that carried my shade? And about how disheartening it
was to not be able to do something as simple as buying a foundation or
concealer? Well, on that fateful shopping trip, I popped into The Body Shop to
try out some of their ‘Fresh Nude Foundation’ that I’d been researching for a
while. Whilst trying to decide which shade to get (it was a toss-up between Caribbean
Mahogany and Tuscany Chestnut), something inside me blend the two together to
see what they would look. To my delight (and surprise) both colours combined
seemed to create the perfect brown shade that matched exactly to my hand. Unfortunately,
that’s where my delight (and surprise) ended, as unsurprisingly, when I asked
the shop assistant if they had any in stock I was told no. I then came home
feeling a bit depressed before jumping onto their website and ordering both
colours. After waiting three long arduous days they finally arrived in the post
and I was overjoyed. Check them out.
At 30ml per pot, they are almost twice the size of my trusty Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse. They also have SPF 15 and are dermatologically tested suitable for sensitive skin.
CARIBBEAN MAHOGANY (075)
TUSCANY CHESTNUT (080)
I’ve never used liquid foundation, so I can’t wait to finally use these on my face and share them
with you. This little victory alone is enough to make me buy Body Shop
foundations for the rest of my life.
