This recipe is so easy I’m questioning why I’m writing a
full post about it hahahaha. I loved writing my three-post banana hair mask
series (which you can read
here) so much that I decided to do it again with
another homemade hair mask.
A bit of info on the mask: the lemon helps with hair growth,
keeping it strong, as well as eliminating dandruff, scalp infections, whilst
gently cleaning the hair. The honey also helps with dry and/or damaged hair,
and helps keep hair soft. Both the lemon and honey combined help keep the hair
healthy and are great if (like me) your hair is in need of repair.
What you’ll need:
Ingredients
|
honey and lemon juice |
Equipment
-bowl
-tablespoon
Method
|
two tablespoons of lemon juice |
|
two table spoons of honey |
|
stir together |
|
add half a mug of warm water |
I definitely preferred this mask to the banana one. Unlike the
banana mask, this one felt like it was cleaning my hair without stripping it of
its natural oils; it went on a lot easier; and it tasted delicious ;) Next time
I might add some mashed/whisked avocado to make it into a mousse. And an added bonus? This recipe cost less that £2!! Bargain.
