To be 100% honest, I had never heard of Fleur, let alone read her
blog (and I still haven’t…) until this arrived in the post. Looking back on all
those Superdrug trips, I’m sure I had seen some Fleur merchandise, but it wasn’t
anything I had taken much notice of. I say all that to say, when these did
arrive, even though I was absolutely over the moon, as I didn’t know who Fleur was,
I wasn’t as crazy about these lashes as I was about the other Eylure lashes
that arrive (post to come soon). Or at least, I wasn’t as crazy about the Fleur
lashes until I put them on AND IT WAS LIKE THE HEAVENS OPENED AND THE ANGELS
STARTED SINGING.
I mean OH MY GOD. Where do I even start? For one, these are
so luscious and natural looking and soft and just downright AMAZING that I want
to wear them forever.
When I first put them on, I was speechless. They sat so
perfectly on my lash line it looked like the lashes were actually sprouting
from my eyes, and the texture matched so perfectly to my own lashes – and I didn’t
even use any mascara.

it's a thumbs up from me! don't mind the remnants of my foundation on the back of my hand |
Then I took them out for a road test when I met my friend
for drinks. Even though I loved them from the first moment I put them on, it
was this second time that sealed the deal for me. They were great, I felt
great, I looked great, and I knew I had found the one. They managed to stay on
for the majority of the night, and I’m sure they would have stayed on longer
had I applied a bit more adhesive and allowed it to dry properly/ had the wind
not been so damn gusty.

you can see the end of the lashes coming off a bit |
I couldn’t resist wearing them again when I went out for
dinner and drinks last weekend, and loved them even more. This time I wanted to
try something a little different so I just added some eyeliner. I’m still a
little undecided about which look I prefer (between eyeliner and no eyeliner),
so at the moment it’s a tie – but as a fan of the natural look, I may be
leaning a bit more towards the no eyeliner.
Anyway, I want to say a MASSIVE thank you to the Eylure team
for sending me these in the first place. This was not a sponsored post, but I just
had to share my thoughts on these lashes and how much I loved them (which if
you couldn’t tell, is A LOT). So yes you can expect to see these in my next Superdrug
haul as I am so in love with them, they’re worth me spending my own money. Thanks
again!
